On the whole, moving in Seaforth is pretty straight forward as the homes, though large, mostly have reasonable access. Some of these waterfront properties can certainly be challenging. The access to the properties at some Seaforth homes in Bligh Crescent, Seaforth Crescent and Jenner Street can be shocking. But Man and His Van can manage these furniture removal jobs with care and professionalism. The secret is really quite simple, they need to be done in manageable chunks. It would be totally unrealistic to pack and move a Seaforth five bedroom waterfront home in one or two days. For a Seaforth address with a difficult access, for example one with numerous steep stairs requiring an inclinator, we would prefer to start the pre-pack at least a week before the final moving date. During this time we will have access to the rain forecasts and will be able to coordinate the works accordingly. For example, if rain is due on the moving day then we would endeavour to get as much of the home up the inclinator and into the trucks a few days before. Some of these Seaforth removal jobs simply cannot be done in the rain. Even if we have to move goods into our storage a few days before and “double handle” the load, it is still safer and cheaper than attempting such a move in the rain.
a tricky Seaforth access can certainly be managed but the client does need to be realistic about the time the removal works will take and of course, the cost.
Fortunately most Seaforth homes do in fact have reasonably good access. This makes the furniture removalists job so much easier – and cheaper.
