Man and His Van understand the Inner West of Sydney. So much so we have smaller trucks in our fleet purposely designed for the narrow streets of Newtown and Glebe. Moving a large home in the wide open spaces of say Wahroonga is often easy compared to the larger inner west moves where truck parking can be rather tricky.
As most people moving in the inner west stay in the inner west, the solution is usually simple.
For those larger Inner West moves we arrive in several smaller trucks rather than one large furniture van. Parking is so much easier and we can usually get much nearer to the front door.
This knowledge of the inner west has been gained from over 25 years of local removals. We understand the specific challenges associated with the inner west, such as narrow stair cases in the terrace houses and the necessity of balcony lifts in the area. We are most experienced in balcony lifts but needless to say, health and safety is of vital importance to the balcony rails do need to be solid.

Our hourly Inner West removalist rates above include two men, the truck and all the necessary equipment. Should you require extra manpower then fees are simply charged pro rata. We do have a minimum of two hours work during the week and three hours on a Saturday. All our pricing includes GST.
For larger jobs or when the access is awkward, we can bring a second removalist team towards the end of a long day can really lift morale and double the speed of a job. The hourly removal rate does increase pro-rata, but the job is done twice as quickly. This gives you extra time for any unpacking and setting up your new home. Contact us for more information.
